We decided to change PAPERLESS DAYS to OFF THE GRIDs. Multiple Off-The-Grids: ONE EVERY QUARTER with a specific theme. Ex. No lights, No computers, etc.

First Off-The-Grid scheduled for December 8th, 2010.  (Also spirit week.)
  • Staff Meeting to familiarize teachers with Off-The-Grid Concept --> Introduce Theme, Suggestions/Feedback/Run through Positives/Deltas.
  • Off-The-Grid Prep: Tape light switches OFF. (Put up and take down)
  • Off-The-Grid Prep: Posters w/ Facts near energy sources and high traffic areas.
  • Off-The-Grid Prep: Reminders on BIG whiteboards.
  • Off-The-Grid Prep: TAKE HOME suggestions for SUSTAINABILITY: ex. Pee in the shower. Eat by candle light. etc. :)
